1. Your "Borrowed Time" EP has been out for a little while now. What do you want listeners to take away from it?
We would like listeners to hear songs with a message. For example in the song "Borrowed Time" it says "So cross the center line, give yourself a better view, and you never change your mind, I'm only working on borrowed time." In life sometimes you have to take chances and cross the center line and go head on into the traffic, and if you never change your mind you are working on borrowed time until you crash.
2. What was the inspiration for the cover art and who designed it?
Troy Guerrero our guitarist designed the EP cover.
3. What artists are you currently listening to? Any acts you recommend that people should check out?
I've been listening to a lot of new artists on octane channel of Sirius radio. I like Gemini Syndrome and Of Mice and Men.
4. What was the last concert you went to as a fan?
The last show I attended as a fan was Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars and AFI in Dallas. They were all amazing.
5. What's next for Ayo?
We have a lot in the works. We are writing and self producing our next EP titled "Obsessions" due out in the fall. We are playing two songs titled "Blend" and "Obsessions" currently. We've played the House of Blues a few times and are playing some festivals in the fall like Beast of the Bayou and Voodoo.
