Sounds like: Hardcore
1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “Predator” and is there any meaning behind it?
I was in a band called Great Expectations and the rest of the band was in a band called Visual Noise then GE broke up so I went to them with a Hardcore idea and they were down, Tristin (the drummer) thought of Predator because they had just watched the movie and here we are now.
2. What do you want people to take away from your music?
We just want to create an intense, energetic experience for anyone who listens and comes to shows.
3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?
We are Hardcore. Our sound can vary from slow tempo Metal to fast Punk. we just play what we want to.
4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?
Trapped Under Ice, Knocked Loose, and Steel Panther.
5. What are your three desert island albums that you'd never get tired of listening to?
"Songs for the Dead", "Enema of the State", and "Big Kiss Goodnight".
6. What’s your take on the current state of Hardcore?
Hardcore music is going in a great direction, and the great thing is that no matter how popular it gets it will always stay underground.
7. What’s the current music scene like there in California both locally and state wide?
Locally in Bakersfield it’s small but strong but it’s strong. California HC is second best to East Coast Hardcore.
8. What’s your take on legal/illegal music downloading?
Illegal downloading sucks for an artist but if you’re gonna listen to us do what you have to do any exposure is good at the end of the day.
9. What’s next for Predator?
Album, touring , world domination, 2018 will be our year.
10. Any shoutouts?
