Voodoo Diamond are a four piece hard rock/alternative metal band from London, UK. This five song EP is their most recent release and it's a doozy. "Standing In The Rain" opens up the EP with a nice chugging riff which drives the track. The melody, stellar guitar work and high energy are top notch and creates an extremely radio friendly rock track. There was a music video shot for the track which can be seen here."Tainted Skies" slows things down a bit in the beginning before breaking into a wall of melodic rock sound. The track has an Alter Bridge to it. There's a breakdown in the track which immediately adds depth. Overall it's a really good rock track. "Hollow" right away kicks the doors off with its high octane rock sound. The track brings to mind Sevendust or even Bullet For My Valentine. It treads on the more metal side of the spectrum but features an uplifting melodic chorus. "She's Overloaded" is another hit in the making. The track hits full stride and would definitely infect the eardrums of rock radio fans. Fans of Breaking Benjamin would greatly enjoy the track.
