Sounds like: Hard Rock/Metal

Rock music has been under a microscope lately with some say it's dying and others saying it's better than ever. If bands like Tragic Earth have anything to say about it, they'll gladly grab the torch of rock and run with it. Tragic Earth are here to make a statement in the rock world and their "Hatred And Tolerance" album does just that. "Fade" opens up the album with a very smooth guitar riff which leads into an almost marching cadence before blowing into some high octane rock sound. There's a lot going on in the track with an extreme amount of melody, guitar riffs flying in and out and some crunch to add to the depth. The track is a great opener to set the tone. "Bittersweet Reality" features a sound that would draw comparisons to Iron Maiden. The driving force of rock on the track combined with the stellar guitar work really makes this a stand out track. "Future Bleak Society" kicks things up a notch and delivers on an almost metal sound. The track features some natural heaviness and will surely get some heads banging and singing along. "Bury Me" is a rockin' good time of a track. We dare you not to tap your foot or bang your head to the overall catchy effect of the track. "Voices" is the single off the album and it does not disappoint. The mixture or grunge, arena rock and metal are on full display on the track. It's such a delight of a track that really showcases the bands talents perfectly. "What If" slows things down a bit with an almost Buckcherry sound. The track might be slower but it still packs a ton of punch. "Pretty Vacant" is a downright kick ass rock track. The track erupts right away and doesn't let go. Everything about the track is out of this world. "Morbid Fascination" is an acoustic instrumental track that helps mix things up. It might be just a minute or so long but it's really some incredible guitar work. "Russian Roulette" ups the ante on the pace and looks to destroy everything in its path. The track is a prime example that Tragic Earth are here to take no prisoners in the rock genre. "Necessary Commentary" has that 70's rock sound down pat. The track should be a crowd favorite with its highly infectious chorus and easy to sing along verses. "The Taste Of Wasted" brings back the crunch and attitude of the previous "Pretty Vacant" track. It's a tremendous track that knows how to take things up a level. "Overflow" slows things down as its an acoustic track that knows how to pull at the heartstrings. "The Curse Of The Nocturnal Entity" simply knocks it out of the park as a closer. As a closer on such a high quality album, the track works wonders and doesn't let up on quality. The track and album are a breath of fresh air to the rock genre.

Verdict:
Tragic Earth are here to make a statement in the rock world and their "Hatred And Tolerance" album does just that.
