"The Wolf You Feed" Music Video
Bad Llama are a UK based alternative rock band that released this EP in late September. With influences such as Incubus, Rage Against The Machine and Biffy Clyro, let's see what Bad Llama offers up by way of being eclectic. The opener "The Healer" comes features a slow build before exploding into a wall of sound. There's a Kings Of Leon vibe to the track as it takes the listener on a roller coaster of emotion throughout its four minute span. "The Wolf You Feed" is a soaring rock track that brings to mind Incubus. The track is elevated by the uplifting lead vocals along with its tremendous instrumentation. There's no doubt why this track is a single, it's really good. "Paint In Sound" picks up the pace and extends its wonderful stride by way of a Red Hot Chili Peppers vibe. The track is a bit funky, bouncy and hits all the right notes in the catchy department. "10 Years Time" slows things down a bit. The track is powerful, will draw comparisons to Jack White and should be played at a high volume for ultimate listening. The closer "Exile" has an old school rock style to it and it simply rocks. The track is a bright light at the end of the EP and truly emphasizes how talented the band really is. It's an extraordinary EP and if you're a fan of rock music, you need to listen to this right away.
Verdict:
Bad Llama have an eclectic sound on this EP that is sure to draw in droves of rock music fans.
