From: Newport, NC
Sounds like: Hard Rock

Blotter are an up and coming Rock band from Newport, NC that are out to prove that Rock and Roll isn't dead with their most recent "Wet, Wild N' Nasty" album. "Big Gun" opens up the album with a dirty Southern tinged guitar riff before breaking into a an awesome groove. The chorus is easy to sing along to while the groove is still persistent. There's a twang to the track that'll get the floor dancing, heads banging and people singing along in no time. The guitar solo on the track is an awesome addition also. "Sad 'N' Lonely" has a Kiss vibe to it as the Rock riffs come in waves and the melodies soar like an eagle. Halfway through the track gives you a breather for a bit before erupting back into the Rocktastic fray. The track has that Hard Rock edge that'll surely make it a fan favorite. "Reflections" is a tad harder and faster than the previous tracks but still has their signature highly infectious Rock sound. It's a track that has a ton of depth to it and really showcases the awesome talent of the band. "No Action Tonite" has that throwback Rock sound to it. The driving riffs and melody make this a stand out track that any fan of older Rock should listen to this right now! "Jailbait" is a polarizing track that would be perfect for the bar scene. The track has so many redeeming qualities including an extraordinary guitar solo. "Innocent Pillows" gets the adrenaline flowing back to high levels with its ZZ Top sound. It's a perfect track to blast at a high level. It's pure Rock through and through. "Empty Promises" is the shortest track on the album clocking in at two and a half minutes but it's loaded with the Rock goodness that you'd come to expect from the band. It's loud, brash, in your face and cranks the Rock levels up to 11. "Sexual Affair" closes things out with a nasty guitar riff that'll get stuck in your head for days. This is an epic closer as it wraps up everything they're about in a tightly wrapped bow. Fans of Rock music need to listen to this album immediately! You won't be disappointed.

Verdict:
Blotter are out to ignite the Rock and Roll music scene with their newest album.
