Sounds like: Rock

Dancing On Pluto are a Rock band from Michigan who last year released this five track EP. Let's look back and see what they're all about. "C.V.A" opens up the EP with a groovy bass line before adding a surreal guitar riff and 311-esque vocals. The track is highly infectious and shows off some serious chops. "Cinema" slows things down a bit and creates a more relaxed, chill Rock sound. The guitar work on the track is a thing of beauty and really puts the track to the upper echelon of catchy. "Picasso" is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. It's methodical in its approach and sets the standard on radio friendly Rock sound that even has a mix of R&B. "NoName" has a throwback sound to it. The track lingers in the mellow Rock genre and doesn't waver. It's passionate, emotional and showcases perfectly what the band are capable of. "Mixtape" closes out the EP in style as the pace is picked up and creates an almost arena Rock sound ala Fall Out Boy. It's an awesome track and really puts a nice bow on the phenomenal EP.

Verdict:
Dancing On Pluto takes Rock music to new heights with their "Abandon Ship" EP.
