After almost a year since their critically acclaimed "These Ghosts single. Forever Frost are back with a vengeance with their newest single "Execrate". The track is the first single off their upcoming "Recite The Relapse" album (due out August 17). Let's dig in and see what it sounds like. The track starts off with a nice riff before blasting full throttle into some heaviness. There's an Unearth and Darkest Hour vibe with the opening verse. The track keeps the shredding coming and transitions into an almost Melodic Hardcore feel as the riffs become more melodic and the track drives full speed ahead with them at the forefront. The track comes back with an absolute destructive breakdown which brings things back to the heavier realm. There's a technical brilliance near the end as it goes off the rails but still maintains to exceed standards set by most acts currently in the genre. The guitar solo to close things out is awesome. We can't wait to hear the full album and neither should you. Keep you eyes and ears peeled...August 17.
