Canadian based Metal is extremely hot right now and with a band like Salem Trials, it's about to boil over in intensity. Their second single "Carousel" is to be released on July 2, but in the meantime let's take a look back to their first single "Rotten Path" to help get preprared to what they bring to the table. The track opens with some controlled chaos before unleashing riff-tastic hell on the listener. The breakdown at the one minute marks obliterates everything in its path. They keep the carnage coming as the track continues along a Metallic pace until the two and a half minute mark, when it really goes off into the stratosphere. When it finally comes back down, it dips into a more sludgy breakdown. This is an extremely heavy effort from an exciting up and coming act. We can't wait to hear what their new single is like as they set the bar extremely high with "Rotten Path".
