Sounds like: Metal
The opener "United" has an old school Hard Rock feel to it. It has a bit of bite to it as it feels like it's made for crowd sing alongs and moshing. "Stomp" amps up the intensity and has shades of Nu Metal to it as it trudges between melody, harsh vocals and crunchy riffs. "Rage" is exactly that. The circle pits will surely be flowing when the band plays this track live. The title track "Psycho Hed" is next and it has more Rock appeal to it and its very worthy of being a single. The top notch instrumentation and melodies are a strong point and its extremely infectious overall. "World of Lies" continues the audio onslaught and it works pretty well. It keeps things soaring with its chorus and hard hitting riffs throughout. "Done" is another track that will be a fan favorite. The marching like riffs that are in the forefront of the track keep things on a breakneck pace and the vocals keep it together nicely. The closing track "Clarity" wraps up everything nicely. The track is what the band is all about and it doesn't hold back in its destruction.
Verdict:
Psycho Hed mixes together Metal and Hard Rock in their newest album to create something special.
