Sounds like: Rock
"I Can't Save Your Life" is a high energy track that gets the adrenaline flowing from teh first note to the last. Awesome opener. "Beautifully Damaged" slows things down to a more Grunge like affair. The track is dark, moody and crunchy. "She Was No More" picks up the pace with a marching like cadence and an Hard Rock vibe. The track glides along with a nice bite and melodic vocals. "Razor's Edge" has an early 200's Rock feel to it. The melodies and hard instrumentation keep things interesting throughout its three and a half minute length. "The Note #1 (See Her Fall)" soars high with an Alternative Rock sound that instantly makes this a stand out track. Everything works incredibly well and would fit on Rock radio in no time. "The Note #2 (Aftermath)" is more methodical in its approach. The track features more melody but it still has that hard edge. "Want From Me" doesn't hold anything back. The track comes out swinging and doesn't let up in its delivery. "Come Undone" is a four minute track that has shades of the Deftones. The track is another banger and shows off the true talents from the band. "Unforgiven Love" is hard, heavy and straight to the point with its intensity. The melodies are on point and creates a nice Hard Rock vibe overall. "Zombie" is a cover of The Cranberries track. It's a good cover and shows them put a nice twist on the track. "F L M" closes things out and wraps a nice tight bow on a tremendous full length album.
Verdict:
Shadows At Bay's new album is filled with memorable tracks that'll stay with you for some time to come.
