The track kicks off with some whirlwind like riffs before erupting with an intensity to get the circle pits moving. There's an old school Killswitch Engage feel to the instrumentation in the beginning before giving away to a more Soulfly sound near the first minute. The melodic riffs that follow have a Southern Metalcore twang by way of early He Is Legend. The vocals and instrumentation cranks to 11 before the chorus kicks back in around the two minute mark. The chorus brings to mind Wisdom In Chains and their style of melodic choruses. A nice breakdown follows that will induce some serious mosh pitting. A spoken word bridge gives way to the chorus to close things out.
Verdict:
Never Ending Struggle bring a chaotic intensity with their "Abuse" single.
