"Broken" takes a bit to get going but it evenetually erupts with a ferocity of old school Metal. The aggression is at an all time high throughout and the first verse makes it know that they aren't messing around. The chorus is more melodic, clean sung akin to more Melodic Metal territory. The pace picks back up due to some high speed riffs to get things back at a full clip. The bridge features more melody as chros helps close out the track. "Disturbed" takes a much more Melodic Metal path from the get go. The riffs and vocals are much more radio friendly but still hold an edge. The track will pull in listeners with ease as the overall appeal is off the charts. The guitar solo and breakdown later in the track is extraordinary. With only two tracks in the EP, the sky's the limit for Ashes of Souls!
