Sounds like: Rock

"9 to 5" is a two minute instrumental intro track to get the album started on a Hard Rock note. "Southbound" takes a bit to get going but once it puts the pedal to the metal, it creates a whirlwind of throwback Rock that's both catchy and hard hitting with its grooves. "Drive" brings to mind the later efforts of Fight Paris and their flair. "Stone Cold Fox" kicks into high gear from the get go. The track has a steady groove, infectious riffs and a nice little bridge breakdown. "Redline" is the single off the album and proves why in its delivery. The track is a perfect example of what the band is all about and everything on the track works perfectly to encapsulate that. "Name on a Bullet" is five minutes of no holds barred Rock. The track continues the frantic Rock pace set before it and blazes forward in its riffs and melodic vocals. "Letter From a Racketeer" has a Buckcherry feel to it. The track tries to take its time but at times feels disjointed with the change of pacing. "Outlaw" features some outrageous guitar riffs that need to be heard to be believed. The track is top notch and should be a hit with listeners. The title track closes out the album in style. The track wraps things up nicely and doesn't hold back whatsoever with their signature sound.

Verdict:
Southbound Beretta are Rock through and through and their new album cements their place in the Rock world.
