From: California
Sounds like: Metal/Industrial Metal

1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “Sinyells" and is there any meaning behind it?

I started studying piano at 8 and got fascinated by the electric guitar sound when I saw a guy playing on the tv, don't really remember who he was, but I remember that I wanted to play the electric guitar. Sinyells is kinda yelling for sin because it has to have something to do with rebellion and do the opposite that you've been taught, something like that.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

I like people to feel strong when they listen to Sinyells, to feel that energy that can be contagious to start your day or to motivate your week or mood.

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

I will put it as Industrial/Metal/Metalcore.

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Static-X, Fear Factory, and Ice Nine Kills.

5. How has Covid affected what you do as a band?

Well, I just stayed home the majority of the time and started to compose more music for Sinyells and other projects.

6. What’s your take on the current state of Industrial Metal?

I love the style, I think today you can find a lot of industrial metal bands on the net, so, nowadays there are no limitations in music style, also, the bands tend to mix a little of everything, not all, of course, that's what I do with Sinyells, I have some industrial metal elements, but there are a lot influences from the metal genre in gral.

7. What’s the current music scene like locally there?

I'm not too involved with the music scene right now, was kinda absent, since this is a 1 man band, but I would like to get more involved and try to play someday, why not, that'd be really cool!

8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services payout to artists?

Well, the game today is really tough, there is a lot of competition, so, my opinion is that I don't know how to manage a streaming platform, so, maybe they have their reasons to pay that amount and so on, my opinion is to do what I love which is music and try to spread the word and keep doing it, if the quality of your music is good, I think people will eventually listen to it, and yeah, I think a band and project should do paid promotion as well, cause there are thousands of bands and if you would like to be discovered, that what you should do.

9. What’s next for Sinyells?

We have a new single coming on Jan, 14th called "Departure".

10. Any shoutouts?

Thanks to From The Depths Entertainment for the opportunity and we hope to bring this year a lot of music!
