From: United Kingdom
Sounds like: Pop Punk/Alternative
1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name "Twilight Stunt Work" and is there any meaning behind it?
We started out as a tribute band and it kind of went from there. Leam always worked on writing his own material whilst Chris was never really into it at the time. Then the pandemic hit, both of us started bouncing ideas back and forth. That is how it all took off.
2. What do you want people to take away from your music?
We just want listeners to enjoy it.
3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?
Catchy hooks with an upbeat atmosphere. We know how we would like to sound and how we think we sound but that all depends on the listener. Our go to genre is Pop-Punk / Alternative. We think that is the overall sound that best suites Twilight Stunt Work.
4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?
New Found Glory, The Cure and Jimmy Eat World.
5. How has Covid affected what you do?
Covid 19 sparked this whole project off.
6. What’s your take on the current state of Alternative?
Depends, I (Leam) have such a diverse in music taste and different genre’s, I would not know where to start. There are bands that I knew as Punk or Pop-Punk growing up, however they are now classed as “Alternative” such as Blink-182 and Greenday. Alternative to me would be bands like “Bleachers” or “U2”. Amazing bands also.
7. What's the current music scene like there in the UK?
It is great, there are so many good bands already, however look out for bands such as “Blossoms” or “Neck Deep” These are exceptional bands.
8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?
Early days, cannot comment.
9. What's next for Twilight Stunt Work?
Crack on with the EP coming Summer 24. Twilight Stunt Works next single is a little heavier with a more upbeat tempo. This will enable us to show both sides to the band.
10. Any shoutouts?
Most notably Gareth Dunt, Tom Foulkes, Adam Lohrbach and Grant Berry who have all contributed towards the up and coming EP and everyone who cared to listen to the music. We would like to say thank you for all the support.
