Sounds like: Death Metal
From: Pennsylvania
1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? How did the name "Death Descending" come about and is there any meaning to it?
Death Descending was just a name that I came up with at a day's band practice before that lineup fell apart. It is also the name of a book and a magic trading card. There is no relation to either of these two things however.
2. What do you want people to take away from your music?
I want people to feel better about things that make them want to scream.
3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?
Modern death metal in the likes of Gatecreeper, Creeping Death, and Tomb Mold.
4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?
Gatecreeper, Creeping Death, and Tomb Mold.
5. What's your thoughts on AI generated music?
I think AI generated music is good for experiments but bad commercially. I do not think AI generated music should be used commercially.
6. What’s your take on the current state of Death Metal?
Death Metal seems to be doing good at the moment.
7. What’s the current music scene like there in Pennsylvania?
The music scene in Pennsylvania is great regardless of show attendance. The bands are always good and it's always a good time.
8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?
They are royalties. That's my take.
9. What’s next for Death Descending?
Release an EP once it's finished being completed.
10. Any shoutouts?
