1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? How did the name "Punk Angels" come about and is there any meaning to it?
We started our musical career while imprisoned at a juvenile detention center for various petty crimes. It was inside that we started a gospel quartet and the rest is history. The name came in a flash of creative genius and it also has to be credited to our infatuation with the punk and leather lifestyle that we've fully embodied and made our own.
2. What do you want people to take away from your music?
That the world is your oyster and you should follow your dreams until they become your reality.
3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?
Bare knuckle Rock N' Roll.
4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?
Motley Crue, Bret Michaels band, Fozzy.
5. What's your thoughts on AI generated music?
"Terrible, just terrible, soulless".
6. What’s your take on the current state of Rock?
There seems to be a huge revival of the rock n roll spirit and a resurgence of opportunities for rock bands.
7. What’s the current music scene like there in North Carolina?
There is a decent underground scene we love are fans there dirty alleycats ready to attack the next single.
8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?
They should pay more, and we work to give our fans physical copies.
9. What’s next for Punk Angels?
